Sugarloaf Showdown

Rob and I had the pleasure of participating in the 2024 Sugarloaf Showdown. Organized by the Lower Keys Guides Association, this is a two day tournament targeting Bonefish, Permit, and Barracuda. With thirty two teams registered, this event raised a lot of money for the Bonefish Tarpon Trust as well as the Guides Trust Foundation.

Rob fished his heart out as usual. He landed three barracuda and two bonefish which earned us third place in the fly division. We had the pleasure of taking home two beautiful Jorge Martinez paintings, and had a fantastic time. Thanks to the Lower Keys Guides Association for hosting us and putting on the event!

It looks like we have some great weather to look forward to this weekend and next week!
